This time next week...

... we should be sat relaxing with a pint after having driven down to Devon without incident.

We'll be enjoying the close of the summer solstice, next to the sea, happy that the tents are up without issue, the whole day having been glorious and warm, ready to start the run itself on the Monday.

Or...

This time next week, we'll be frantically trying to wade through 6 inches of rainwater to get the tents put up in a force 9 gale, having only just arrived for one reason or another (probably Sunday drivers all over England turning out a day early), with no chance of a relaxing beer before we sort out whatever problems may have befallen us on the way down.

Hopefully it's no worse than a combination of the two - the prep work is almost all done, there are two new tyres waiting to go on Dennis, the Minibum will get its first outing on the roads tomorrow and there's very little left... which is just as well...
